 That pile of orc bodies reminded me of this scene in Lords of the Rings where Rohirrim had butchered orcs carrying Merrin and Pippi and Strider(Aragorn)is inspecting this place trying to find traces after Merri and Pippin and finds that piece of jewelry.This happens near MORKWOOD just like in these images a forest is near.Even the morale of the orcs matches this as they also have nothing but maggoty bread to eat and fight amongst themselves.
