The worst consequence of using battlefield nuclear weapons is that many non-nuclear nations would come to the conclusion that the only way of every being truly safe is being in possession of nuclear weapons, leading to a global nuclear arms race.
People better start paying attention when the media is calm and casually discussing things such as this. It means obviously preparing people for a very real situation possibly happening. Not saying it is gonna happen. Just saying pay attention and be on guard.
The fact that the US government is making these plans suggests to me that they have intelligence that indicates the Russian nuclear threats are serious and genuine. We could potentially be at the most dangerous time since the Cuban missile crisis.
I for one will not be losing interest. I can’t speak for everyone else, but my vote is for you guys to do whatever you need to do. I don’t want myself or my sons dealing with this anymore than I want Ukrainians and their children. If I need to pay higher prices and not take a vacation or buy a house this year, so that millions don’t end up in trenches killing each other. I’m in.
